depends what 5 speed box you are running, most likely to be the w58. Im using the w58 with my TT and its taking it fine, other people shred them to bits!!

suposanly they can take 400hp, but not constant thrashing. Soon as i save enough im buying the r154 gearbox which is the stronger option.

there is alot more than just the Gearbox you need by the way, clutch and so on.

As welshbuddy says mate. The R154 is a better option, or preferably a Getrag 6 spd, although they are pricey.

I also have a w58 in my TT, with a stage 4 competition clutch, and stock flywheel (at the moment)

Handles it fine and im more or less bpu.

Mine is the Stage 4 ceramic mate. Handles it very well. Around the same price. The one you are looking at will be fine too I expect. Best thing to do is what I did, and discuss it with Paul Whiffin (Whifbitz owner) and he will suggest the best one for the job you want it for :)
