JK90
I am 22 with 3 years ncb, got a quote for a twin turbo supra 400bhp my insurance want an extra £400 to change cars on the policy which takes me to next february in total it will be £1362 with mods included, there is no agreed value and they wont pay out for mods or anything because it isn't optional extra, is this good or could i maybe get cheaper? Boge
This is around what I was originally offered for one with no mods however I added my mum as a named driver and price went down. It may be worth trying that?
JK90
i already have parents on but only named drivers i am policy holder

jazz1
Thing is alot of young guys put their parents names down to get cheap quotes, if they did not they would not get insured. Insurance is a complete joke it does not make sense, I pay more on my Nissan micra than my modified supra!
welshbuddy
good price, mine was 1000quid this year for twin turbo all mods declared 4 year no claim. 22 years. but as i lost a shitty battle my insurance is going up to bout 1500 . but that will be on a single turbo =]. Kaan W
When the insurance company asks me if its garaged or parked on a driveway I say, "whats cheaper"? Obviously your not gunno leave it on your drive if its cheaper to park it in the garage. "Im sorry Sir the system doesnt work like that". Just do hundreds of quotes see where its cheaper to park, leave over night etc and stand by that...
JK90
Its a jap spec pal
safcdixon
Its a jap spec pal It's worth checking the quote isn't for a uk spec car, as they are cheaper too insure, if you've done it on the reg then it should be ok
