lamboyello
Bought a wing mirror and went to fit them and the connectors on my new wing mirror is quite large and the connectors on my car are small. Have i bought one for pre facelift or something? My car is a 1997 facelift TT
sideexitsupra
I would guess you do not have electric folding mirrors and the one you have bought is.
lamboyello
well I have got electric folding wing mirrors. I know my car. I bought these off Keron and he said it was an electric folding wing mirror for a facelift so why would the connector be different.

shaky
You can get 2 sorts of plugs,a flat 9 pin, small fat 5 pin, each one can be either electric folding, non folding, heated, and adjustable glass, when you buy a mirror it's best if you get them to show the pic of the plug and where the pins are so that they match. D8MOA
i think you can unpick the wiring out of the connector and swap it with the old one obv putting the wires back in the same order lol
Nic
Cut the plug off and splice in the plug from the other mirror, job done.
