xeno
I have a problem with the background / button illumination on the heater control panel. I thought the problem was blown bulbs, but one night it was all lit up, every bulb was illuminated. That night was the only time in over 5 years I have seen it lit up. All the buttons and knobs work fine, all the LED's go on and off as they should, it's just the pesky backlighting that won't work. This was the closest info I could find. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?52238-heater-buttons-and-lights Looks like some members had similar issues, but no one seemed to get it resolved. I've got the dash apart at the moment and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or possibly a pinout for the connectors. I think it might be time to start poking around with a meter. safcdixon
Have you checked the fuses in the drivers footwell fusebox? my dash lights went of last year when it blew a fuse.
xeno
Yes, I have checked and all are good. I guess it could be a bad contact in the fusebox maybe, but the fuses themselves are fine. It's weird, they were off for years, then one night they lit up and not seen them since.
