ECU water temp sensor

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

just in the process of replacing a few bits, and want to change the ECU water temp sensor as I know when faulty this can cause rich running problems, and my fuel use does seem a little high considering im not driving it hard or round town.

changing spark plugs and O2 sensor, but also going to replace this as well.

Found one on ebay, would this be suitable? or is there anywhere else (aside from taking a raping at toyota) where I can get a new one? Last time I bought the same sensor from Toyota for my MR2 turbo it was almost £70.

This one appears to be suitable:

any help or other sources would be grand.

Cheers.

Go for it, seems a good price but who knows about the quality? Personally Id pay the extra 40 quid and get a known quality genuine one.

Conceptua are a pretty good company, have been on the Soarer forum for a while, quick to respond and helpful :)
