Guest 93mk4_2jz
ive done tons of reading on this and i have yet to solve this for sure, im at the last step of bpu on my 93 j spec and the famous question of the fuel pump ecu. ive got brand new denso 1020 pump but before i intsall it id like to know for sure if it will burn out my jspec fuel pump ecu? or should i do the 12v relay mod? whats the best choice? all the threads on this our old and go back and forth. is there a better way to make this pump work? id rather not do the 12v relay mod. im new to fuel systems so any help advice or even links would be very appreciated! thanks! hodge
Dude, just plug it in and let it do it's job. A pump is a pump. As long as you get the live and earth correct it doesn't matter what pump it is, the ECU just turns it on and off. Your good to go.
