Suprakeith
Hi just drove back from mates and whenever pull away or turn hard the back on car was banging loud and felt like the one of rear wheels locking, i am suspecting its the rear brakes sticking but could it be anything else please, am going to order set of rear discs and pads and take rear brakes apart and clean them up but just want to get peoples opinion please on what they think it could be? D8MOA
there are 4 hand brake shoes... if one or part of one has broken the material could be getting caught causing wheel to lock up BUT the non broken parts can still cause the hand brake to work its a hours work to strip and inspect the brakes i would do it for peace of mind
Suprakeith
Am going to take brakes apart and check for sure as its only the passenger rear wheel that is locking and banging which makes me think its more to do with brakes than the diff
Philly_1 Lex
SupraKeith It's your wheel bearings in the rear. Jack rear of car up enough to get tires of the ground and the side to side motion and see if the wheel spins freely. 99% sure That this is your problem
