Tony Smiley
I ordered some 18's last week and now, prior to delivery, I'm told they wont fit - Mille Miglia EVO, 8" front, 9" rear. problem apparently is offset on the rear and caliper clearance on the front. My car is a Jap TT Auto GZ with 16" std rims (8" front, 9" rear) and with the puny brakes fitted I really didn't think there would be a problem, until I felt the clearance between the caliper and the stock front wheels (not on diameter, but between the spokes and the caliper casting). so perhaps there is some truth in the problem. Question to you all is: what have you all got fitted that I can safely buy mail order in the UK? I have asked most mail order companys for their opinion, but they all make negative noises, and everyone says something different even if their advertising shows a Supra fitment. they cant even agree on the proper offset? (i think 50mm). So far i have been offered a Hi-Octane 147 with a nice polished rim, and an OZ Classe (which looks really poor). all really deep dish types, I personally think the Supra looks best on five or seven spokes extending to the edge of the rim, so don't want either of these........ One of you must have gone through all this already?? Kind regards.......and please help Tony
Steve Cargill
Hi Tony, I think the stock wheels are pretty good. The Lexus GS300 Sport wheel also look very nice, they are 18's, 8" fronts I think and 10" rears. This is my car with them fitted. There are three Supras I know of with them at the moment, and the fit over UK brakes.

SupraSapphire
Hi Tony, I've got Millie Miglia Evo's fitted to my car but they needed spacers to fit over my UK brakes (I wouldn't recommend this). However if you have the Jap brakes they should fit no problem. When I went to get mine fitted the first time, a guy pulled up in a black Supra with the exact same wheels on. I asked him about them and he said that they'd gone straight on with no problems cos he had the Jap brakes. They were 19"s 8.5" front, 9.5" back. Best of luck
bromy
Tony, These are RH wheels manufactured in germany they put them on porsche and audi, 18x10 on rear they look like a split rim but are one piece, nice deep dish, mine have a spacer but there is loads of clearance on j-spec calipers. ______________________________________________ nick

Tony Smiley
thanks for all this help, I have asked Nick at wheelbase to check out the fitment of 19" Evo's as sugested by SupraSapphire, with 245/275 Proxes and Nick has also recommended this Hi-Octane 18" rim; what do you think? could look good? Tony Smiley
SupraSapphire, are your wheels 19" also? i just wonder what i would need to do if i upgrsded the brakes. Regards Tony
SupraSapphire
Yes, mine are 19"s. If you upgrade your brakes you'll need spacers. I've currently got 20mm spacers but they're too big. They make the wheels stick out from the wheel arches by about 10mm. They also cause the wheels to scrub the inside of the arches when you hit a bump while turning a tight corner, you have to be really careful. Dil, one of the other guys on the forum, has these wheels too. He's got 8mm spacers and doesn't have any of the problems I have. However he had part of his wheels machine ground down. He's actually selling the wheels at the moment. Try PMing him but they may have already gone. Hope this helps.
Tony Smiley
OK - thank you for your help - I'm going for the Hi-Octane's; I think the ride might be better (Chris R and I agree) and I can't risk that uprated brakes may clash with the new wheels. thanks to you all again for your help - I will see what i can do regarding a discount for "us" at wheelbase, who have been briliant with me: Tony
ChrisR
Tony, Those Hi-Octane's look quality nice one, when do you think you will get them sorted. Do i sense some 16" stocks coming up for sale.

Tony Smiley
Ibrar, Iwould apreciate a price for 18x8 front, 18x9 rear with Toyo Proxes, sized 245/40, 265/35 respectively; assembled and balanced. I would have 10s on the back, but I don't think they make them? Thanks M8. need something sticky to give Chris R a run for his money at the Pod! Kind regards, Tony
