Bagci
I have a Jspec TT and it's limited to 110 MpH, Instead of wiring up my current ecu in a way to remove the top speed limiter, could I buy an aftermarket ECU to plug in? If so what would be the best to buy and would it be hard to do...? I'm thinking of going BPU soon and the car is an automatic! Thanks. TubbyTwo
surely its less hassle to just Spend £60 on a delimiter??
mellonman
depends how rich you are really, if you have big plans then get a good ecu 2k so there you have it £60 or £2,
stevie_b
Like the tubby one said. Fitting a different ECU is using an expensive sledgehammer to break a nut, if all you want to do is remove the speed limit.
Swampy442
Hold the phone people, get a Blitz, MINES Etc ECU, removes speed limiters, more powers and boost, about 300 quid

bradleyh_15
I have a toms ECU for sale mate will do all you ask for and more won't fit your auto though Edited June 1, 2012 by bradleyh_15 (see edit history)
stevie_b
remove trac fuse? cheapest way Surely this has side effects though...? I don't have a TT so I know very little about the trac fuse, but does it stop the traction control system from working? I accept that the stock traction control doesn't have a good reputation, but it's good to be aware of side effects.
