marbleapple
Evening all Finally got sign off from the wife for a new computer. I have needed one for ages. I run a small online business as well as using it for my real day job. The computer needs to be able to handle multiple processes, 3 monitors and able to play the latest games (didn't mention this to the wife) including eve online. My budget is £800. I know there are a lot of computer 'people' on here. May I have your thoughts or comments... Am I missing something? Can I do better? Porky1978
I've never been a great fan of the AMD processors personally, i think they are way behing Intel. I'd go for an Intel i7 or i5 depending on if you can get one within budget. Why bother with 2 hard drives? I'd go for a decent solid state drive (again if budget will accomodate) and a bigger 2nd HDD.

Point re processor is noted. I'll ask. The idea is to use the big disk for everything except for media (photos and music) which will be left for the 500gb one. Aren't solid state really expensive and what is the benefit of one?
