Might give hornet a call today add see if it comes with one of there alarm systems.

As for the dildo popping out of the seat I'll get my other half to sit in the drivers seat and press the button rapidly and see if her face changes :).

The best way to find out about switches like this is to go about it in a different way, rather than proactively finding the use for it, just use the car until you find something missing in your life. It may take 20000 miles or anywhere up to five years but one day you will think "ooh I really wish I had.........." press the button and it just could be that. In the meantime just forget about it move on and find other things more productive to do ;)

I had a little red button on my first Supra in the same position, can't for the life of me remember what it did. Does you alarm have a remote start function? I had a little toggle next to the red button that would enable/disable the remote start function :)

If by your old car you mean the supra i drive now it does have a little button like this in the footwell and then a switch below is, i like to tell people its NOS :p

Why can't it just be a button for pressing? When you get stuck in traffic, you can time how many times you can press it in a minute then try to beat your record. Have you thought of that? Wish i had one, pressing buttons is fun :(

I love pressing buttons too, especially if they say 'don't press' or 'press in case of emergency' its an issue I've had to deal with my whole life.

Maybe we could have a subsection on the forum for BPA's?

Lol im the same, soon as i got into my supra i thought, ooooooooh i wonder what that red button with the japanese writing underneath it is for, so i pressed it and thats how i found out what it did haha, no forum searching etc lol, i have a habbit of pushing buttons too which isnt always good as my younger cousin directed me to a website called poobutton.com in which you have to press the red button 5 times, you can guess what happens next :p

Nice, thank you, you have provided my fix for the next 2 hrs.

edit: its gone!! you're one of those dealers that just play games with their button junkies to get them hooked, I bet you hang around youth clubs with a fire alarm button attached to a board trying to attract new Push Button Addicts. all I wanted was to push some buttons and possibly be rewarded in some way and now you've ruined my morning. Sicko.

I have a button in the same place. It's black and shaped like a large American wall switch(like used for a ceiling light or ceiling fan in a bedroom).

It has a small marking on it which I cannot decipher and have never figured out what it does - my only thoughts are that it was alarm related.

Given the location you've shown, override of some type seems likely.
