dan294
I'll get some pics after if I remember. It's my second RS. I had a Castle Performane Engineering stage 4 Rs about 12 years ago that was 250bhp at 24psi. Was ridiculously quick! They're a hoot to drive! dan294
There's nothing like a bit of 80's Ford retro! My Castle built Rs was something else, was a Performance Ford feature car
dan294
Been out again in it today. Really short drive and can't believe the attention it draws! Even parked on the pub car park earlier people were walking past and pointing; the Supra never gets that!

j_jza80
Why was the Red one on a Q reg?
dan294
Not sure to be honest. I was told it was a police reposession; but it did have a reg etched on the windows, H95 GHP, which did come up as a 1990 Escort RS Turbo in red. It had about £20000 worth of receipts with it. It's not been taxed since 2005 and I think it was broken, as I came across the seats and door cards etc in another RS Turbo for sale on ebay last year. Shame really as it looked like brand new. Had a full bare metal respray and full custom leather retrim, think the receipts for the interior and exterior alone was about £6000. Wish I'd kept it, but being 19 at the time, I just couldn't afford to. It used to eat diff bearings and an AP 4 paddle clutch every year or so as well, it was insanely quick. DonDavidson
yea im not understanding this talk of Supras not getting attention, first thing i noticed when getting it home was how many people were pointing and looking at it, asking questions too. Never got that with an Astra i'll tell ya!
tomgeer
I've always found its the older more mature folk that comment on my supra, late 30's - 60 age bracket seem to appreciate it. The younger generation don't notice or acknowledge it, it's just an old toyota that their ford focus could smoke with ease.
