Supra missfires on 2nd turbo

Alright finaly got my supra running again and took it for a spin.

First couple of pulls were fine but then on the second turbo its started missfiring and its getting worse.

it had new ngk iridium plugs and coil pack clips only a couple hundred miles ago.

It bassicaly sounds like a small child spraying an ak47 when after around 5000rpm

any ideas what could cause this?

What boost is it running? Missing at high boost levels is usually caused by either poor coil pack wiring connectors or worn/wrong heat range plugs.

I'd start by double checking the connectors to the coil packs are all secure and that you've got the correct heat range plugs fitted http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?41927-FAQ-Spark-plugs&highlight=spark

You could also try pulling the plugs to see if one or more of the electrodes looks different to the others which could narrow down the problem to a specific cylinder.

Think I've found the problem. Today my power steering started making a grinding noise and a bit of googling reveals it could be the crank pulley. Going to put a new one on and see if it makes a difference
