computer question

just a quicky please guys , when im doing a bit of surfing , it starts to make a whirring noise , then if i click off a site it stops . my connection is total pants but nothing i can do about it .

but the whirring noise definitely is slowing it down even more, any ideas what it could be , before it goes into a shop ?

Cpu fan increasing as it is under load

 

My work one goes nuts when i have alot of programs open!

Depends

 

Could be full of dust. In which case an air duster will clear it. Or it could be a wire or something catching the fan.

Or the fan blade is broken

 

Depending on the pc - remove the cover. Find the fan on the heatsink. And dust or replace. The fans are usualy universal Sizes and you can get them from maplin or online. But sometimes they are not. Need to look at it realy.

If its a laptop it might me more of a pita. Even then an air duster into any vents you can see might clear it.
