Guest gs430 v8
Yes the engine and running gear is also available, i had a gs430 v8 and when i seen the isf being broken at my local jap breakers i launched at it with my cash and snapped it up as nearly everything sold in 2 days, people all over the world especially saudia arabia and dubai. Circumstances changed before i could go and get the engine fitted so i sold my lexus and now left with the running gear and its no use to me now. Some information below from wikipedia. The Lexus IS F features a 5.0 L direct-injected 2UR-GSE V8 producing 416 SAE hp (423 PS, 311 kW) at 6600 rpm, while peak torque is 371 ft·lbf (503 N·m) at 5200 rpm.[31] The engine redlines at 6800 rpm and also features a two-stage intake system, engine oil and automatic transmission fluid coolers and an oil pump designed for high-speed cornering. Along with both port and direct injection, the engine features VVT-iE camshaft timing, and has a compression ratio of 11.8:1.[32] The 2UR-GSE is derived from the Lexus UR-series V8 engines, which first debuted as the 1UR-FSE on the 2007 Lexus LS 460. Of the UR-series V8s, the 2UR-GSE is most closely related to the 2UR-FSE used in the 2008 LS 600h. It features the same bore and stroke dimensions (3.70 in x 3.52).[32] However, extensive modifications carried out by the IS F engineering team in conjunction with Yamaha's Formula One (F1) engine program resulted in a cast-aluminum intake manifold, new cylinder heads, and titanium intake valves.[32] Additionally the engine features a forged crankshaft, connecting rods and cam lobes. At maximum acceleration above 3400 rpm, the secondary intake opens.[33] Compared with the LS 600h's 2UR-FSE (measured alone without its hybrid-electric motors), the IS F 2UR-GSE has more horsepower and torque at higher rpm, and 17 ft·lbf less peak torque (see also Lexus IS F performance specifications).[32] The Lexus IS F comes equipped with Brembo cross-drilled brake rotors (14.2 in front, 13.6 rear) and 6-piston front and 2-piston rear aluminum calipers stamped with the Lexus emblem. bondango - i will reply to your pm tomorrow Swampy442 - thanks for vouching for me i appreciate it whole heartedly
Guest gs430 v8
Wow, damn good price. Can a Turbo conversion be done on the engine? Yes, please click on link below and prepare to be amazed as the turbos are mounted behind the back box and the sound when spooling is out of this world, thats exactly what i was planning to do, drop in and straight turbo conversion.......let someone else do it now. skip to 3.00 and listen to the sound

garethr
I think the IS-F calipers are radial mount, so they would need conversion brackets. Please find pictures of the calipers with all round image Definitely NOT radial mount then. I was obviously thinking of some completely different calipers! Guest gs430 v8
Definitely NOT radial mount then. I was obviously thinking of some completely different calipers! so what does this mean..?? is this easier to fit on a supra or harder..?? sorry i am not a mechanic so do not have a clue..lol
Herb
this looks very similar to the mounting points of the supra TT calipers..... so I think it is doable, as long as the calipers don't touch other parts (suspension etc!?) regards, Herbert

Kirk
so what does this mean..?? is this easier to fit on a supra or harder..?? Tad more difficult compared to radial mounts. Either way you will need a bracket adapter machined up to make them fit.

Herb
Now that we know about the brakes... Does anybody know about the engine? Has someone already installed the isf lump to a supra? (or sc300, aristo etc.?) Regards, Herbert
