Guest Dan
Hi, i have a 1993 UK spec Auto Supra. The engine is a 2JZGTE It had an AEM ECU but the gear change kept going wrong, apparently AEM ECUs are only suitable for manuals? This seems strange as it it did control the gearbox OK intermittently. I have now swapped out the ECU for a standard one, but it turns out that ECU is from a Japanese model not UK and the injectors are much bigger in the UK spec engine. So now i have a car with perfect gearbox changes but massive overfuelling. i can swap out the injectors to the Japansese engine ones, but this would result in me losing the 420 BHP my car has. So the first question is, does anyone have a UK spec auto ECU to sell? Second question is: Any other ideas? I am at a loss :-( Thanks guys
EMPEROR
It's not only about the injectors mate, Jap spec ECU uses MAP, UK spec uses MAF...
