Gazboy
Ridiculously enough, the Supra is my "sensible" car, see sig for recently bought silly one Oh you git! A really nice Supra is just not enough, you've got a Griff too! I bet a 5.2 bloody shifts! Did you put the rollbar in, or did the previous owner? Member of any TVR clubs? Dragonlady
Honda accord coupe much to the dislike of the blokes at my works, too much car for a woman to handle( they haven't seen the supra yet!) My other half has the plessure of being a two blue van man

Toytown
Might as well throw my 2 bobs worth in the supra was bought as a daily driver, but with the miles we do, I try to use whatever else is available to keep the supra miles down a bit (12,000 in the last 10 months !) Luckily because I buy & sell one or two jap cars, I get enough variation to stop me getting bored AND appreciate the supra again when I drive it there's not ONE from the list below that I would swap the supe for, although some are quicker than my feeble N/A supe Right now i am using ........ '94 GTS-T Skyline (have a wrx & largo being prepared) 2 weeks ago it was a Largo & an auto GTS-t Before that, a mixture of GTS-t's, impreza, delica, largo. FTO & a GTO/TT Next on the hitlist are MR2T - ZED TT - Soarer, never had any of these & itching to "test" them. 3 weeks ago i had the displeasure of dragging a Vectra & a Xantia home from an auction for a mate of mine ............... makes even an FTO seem luxurious & quick Only goes to prove you don't HAVE TO be a sad old fart when you are the wrong side of 40 !! (soon to be nearer 50 than 40 )
CJ
A quick What are the GTS T like? I was going to get one as a runaround.
chilli
Thanks for all the replies everyone, it's nice to see that i'm not the only one that drives a tiny car during the week! I thought that more people would have had Toyotas as their second cars... keep 'em coming - if there's anyone left. I find that driving a humble everyday car makes me appreciate the supe that much more everytime i drive it, and the lower running costs means more money to spend on the supe!! Toytown
CJ GTS-T Auto is probably a bit quicker than my N/A Supe, far more refined but lacks the spirit of the supra (smooth & effortless, like a Lexus) Manual is quite a bit quicker but obviously not in TT Supe league. shame you're not closer, you could have had a play in this one

Todd
SUPRA !! Whats the point of having more than one car when the Supra does it all ? I do my shopping in it When ever someone says "Nice Car" I always say it's great for doing the shopping Supra is the main car but get to play with the wifes MX5 when I've been good. I do my shopping in it Driving 120 miles a day would put too many miles on her (she passed 60K recently)! Makes it REALLY special when we take her out to play (about once a week and at weekends). Wrapping them up in cotton don't do them any good , these babies will go round the clock. Go on - take her out more often, she'll reward you (oh and the car lol !) jaymdee
Supra TT as every day car. My 'weekend' car is Lancia Delta Integrale 16V, so that's in the repair garage all the time!! Basically, I'm totally additcted to torque! J
dangerous brain
volvo t5 with chip, family car, and mine. Soop is Leslie's work car and our weekender car I'm waiting on my best mate selling me his 850R estate beauty of a motor (lowered tweaked race spec braked and blacked out windows) thing is it returns 25 mpg which from my paltry 17mpg max will be a bonus. Oh and you most certainly can do the shopping in that unless you fill all 7 passenger seats.
Gazboy
Oh yeah, my commuter hack is a 1.3 Getz, mrs uses a pushbike, we use the Supra at weekends- well that was the plan anyway, now we have the dog, the Supra is hardly used (I've done 7 miles in it since 18th of July). zap
My other car really is a metro!!! Jspec Germany
BMW 840 - sorry and all that, but it is a very nice car to drive. Can't compare power-wise though.... Good to hear I'm not the only one. BMW 540i. A lot of motor for a sedan and with the 6 speed makes trips around German/Holland fun and comfortable. Nevermind the fuel bill. ivan
My Supra is my daily and only drive. Before that I had a seriously modified MX6 which was the same. Lin's got a 97 1.3 Fiesta that she swears by (and I swear at). Her claim to fame is that in all the time she's had it, she's only ever had to pay for servicing, petrol and one bulb! Kinda makes my car look veeery expensive, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have to travel around the country servicing the PCs at our depots. For those trips I usually take a fleet car - somehow I don't think the company would like the fuel bill if I took the Supra every time...
