The red/black arent live and ground(that would = short circuit, unless it was a bulb) the feed coming out to the button just requires a ground, the button just completes the circuit, you can normally ground 1 side of the button to the wheel hub if you get my meaning.

Cool thanks guys, I have an spline Quick release on just want to upgrade to a ball lock system but the Ball lock system has two wires , Red and Black

The Odula (spline) has just a red wire, so if I just connect one of the wires , on the steering rack and one on the Wheel , all should be good?

get you! why does this quick release system have two wires? It seems to be common

It is the same in my polo the Horn Button completes the Circuit , the two wires confused me
