erol_h
After picking my car 2weeks ago its been parked up in my carport as my insurance does not begin until the 1st of june ive been meaning to give it a good clean just been to lazy. Today ive spent about 5hours giving it a good clean inside and out and ive ran out of steam. These are the first pics ive ever taken i took them in my carport as i just removed my shoes not to get the interior dirty as i parked it back in the carport and the used the leather lotion on the seats. After doing all of this i then realised the mrs had a camera and wasnt going to get back in the car to move it back out as i had of enough of cleaning today. erol_h
I wanted something different from the sup a small 2seater with good grunt and it ticked all the boxes plus its also easier for me to control the back end than the sup was with the sudden kick of the turbos. Ian W
Looks good. Prefer the older Z3M coupe though. Either way, the hard top is way better.
letmeshowyou
I like that. Any plans for it, or will it stay as it is?

erol_h
I like that. Any plans for it, or will it stay as it is? well ive been looking into this and every bloody mod is not cheap for the M's at all. Im in to minds of getting a set of csl alloys but reps as the originals are too expensive and also a nice aftermarket exhaust but i want to go and hear them on other cars as some are a bit too loud and dont want to ruin sound of the car. Thats about it as ive ran out of money on buying and insuring the car.

Does look a nice motor though Your right but the alloys are MV2 they are the e46 m3 alloys but they were fitted from the factory as a extra. nige-rz
Lovely car mate! The S54 M3 engine that's in that, in my opinion, is up there with some of the all time great engines like the 2JZ. Great fun cars to drive. Any reason you chose this over an e46 m3? Don't get the csl reps. They were on my M3 when I bought it and they were the first things I got rid of. Genine oem csl's have an awesome concave face on the rear- none of the reps have these! They're pricier but well worth the money. I bought an eisenmann exhaust system for mine, it lasted a weekend on the car. Great fun but far too loud as it's a daily driver for me. (yet I couldn't bring myself to sell it yet, as it's the most amazing sound )
erol_h
My brother had a e46 m3 i drove his for the weekend before i test drove this one and i just prefer the looks and shape of the z4 and also the fact its more compact. I also really like the look of the rpi exhaust but its just too loud im thinking of a remus exhaust but im no rush as i want to get this right. sideexitsupra
Try Paul Whiffin for an exhaust. I'm sure he could hook you up with one of his titanium jobbies. This is his Ti exhaust website. http://lightweightperformancetitaniumexhausts.co.uk/4-2?slug=index.php&cPath=24 The Z4M is not listed but worth a try. erol_h
Ive used paul with my sup before and was happy with his work im thinking of going for a full exhaust including a manifold to help up the ponies just bloody expensive i remember changing the supras exhaust all the way down from the exhaust manifold was 700 odd just the back boxes for z4 are 800 to 1000 alone. Havard
I like these. Saw a white one at Le Mans a couple of years ago and it looked the nuts. H.
Thorin
Butch hairdresser's car! ...but I've been tempted by these too. After seeing how cheap 350Z's are now though I'm not so sure.

After seeing how cheap 350Z's are now though I'm not so sure. 350z's are great fun to drive. Really tail happy, and seem to be very reliable. 2 of my mates have them and have no complaints. Only reason I chose the M3 is because im 6 foot 5 and it has a bit more room in it. I also think its handy having a back seat!
