ronttuk
We had a mould problem in our flat so we got a damp specialist in to check for damp he said it was a ventilation problem and he said we needed extracter fans fitted. So I fitted one in the new kitchen and one in the bathroom. Now three months on we have mould in our new kitchen cupboards we keep washing it off with bleach and mould remover and it just comes back in a few days . What can we do to stop it returning. Guest Budz86
As moulder is caused by damp, try leaving a bowl of ordinary table salt out somewhere, completely uncovered and it will absorb extra moisture in the air. An old trick we used when I sold caravans! (And no I'm not a pikey!)

welshbuddy
all depends on how bad the damp is, sometimes if you get bad dampness, the walls got to have DPM inside to stop it.
Dim Sum
all depends on how bad the damp is, sometimes if you get bad dampness, the walls got to have DPM inside to stop it. That, it all depends on how bad the damp is, also is it a concern for health issues? If so there might not be a cheap option out but have to spend some money to sort it out.
