stinboy
I'm obviously not going to get any reasonable replies as all any of you guys are interested in is that an english team won. Let me put it differently, if Bayern had defended for the entire game then won on penalties would you still have the same opinion? By 'reasonable replies' do you mean people who post up and agree with everything you've said? Not sure it works like that

sdistc
Fair point. I should have said "unbiased". Why does "unbiased" correlate to agreeing to your premise? I'm not even a football fan, let alone a Chelsea fan, and I think it was a remarkable result that a team that has been so pilloried for the past two seasons (multiple players bringing the club and league into disrepute, a coaching turnstile, aging and/or overpriced/underperforming players, etc. etc.) has managed to beat both the best team in history (arguably, Barcelona) and win the Champions League. Complain all you want about not playing "attractive football" - but the simple equation is fewer goals conceded than the other team = winning. Supra Kong
It was a dull game, i hate when teams just defend! They should come up with a new rule to sort it out, they would in F1!!! For this reason did Chelsea deserve the win? No, i think Munich played miles better, however, Robben lost them the game! Not just because he missed the penalty but he fails to pass the ball when he needs to! Having said that, great header by Drogba!!
RCK10
I'm obviously not going to get any reasonable replies as all any of you guys are interested in is that an english team won. I'm Scottish. I reckon that says it all As said, I'm not a fan of Chelsea, but they played the game to their strengths and done what had to be done. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter who puts on the best show. You play to win, and that's exactly what they done!
