Jamesy
Right the twin plate clutch on this car is..... tricky I made a bet with my wife that she could not get the car rolling and to the end of our close without stalling it once..... the prize was a cleaner for the house I was pretty confident, being as i stall it myself occassionally still ..... I'll let the video do the talking.... :D

TheTurtleshead
Sod the cleaner, I think you need to spend the monies on a new clutch mate!
CarlT67
I'd have been on your side Jamesy, I have an ORC twin plate with a similar bite point and sound. I always joke to people they can happily take it for a drive if they can pull away without stalling, I won't be joking anymore now...!! Jamesy
i seriously would have bet ANYTHING on her not being able to get it rolling without stalling it - i guess thats where women have more pateince to get it right
Angry Acorn
How do you stand the sound coming from the clutch??? I had a greddy twin plate which made the same dam sound and I got rid of it! couldnt find the parts needed to make it silent again! and use to love doing this test to people! I actually miss the twin plate, was a pain in traffic but getting through the gears was so much smoother!

Stonkin
Lol Its bad enough getting stitched up let alone posting it Yours is a bit tricky, but i'm sure you get used to it. I didnt stall yours once but did have it lunge me forward a bit the first time i pulled it out the garage. Yours and Amir's white one are the hardest clutches i've used on Supras, but i found his harder. Was tricky trying to balance his clutch but also not give it to much revs as i remember his just reving so freely. I actually still have a slightly burnt tile bang in the middle of my garage floor when i first drove his out and his sticky drag tyres just gripped the floor. Keep meaning to replace the tile What i did not ice with his and yours is that the clutch was much easier to use when in reverse. Why would that be? The saving grace is the actual pedal feel is very light!! But that tricky biting point is more than made up with crisp sharp gear changes at speed.^ Yeah much easier when in reverse gives you a bit more 'slip' range
