Colin-mkiv
My car is running terribly, I know what the issue is and I'm competent on the end of a set of spanners, but this stuff just confuses me. Is there anyone close by that might be able to sort it for me? I'm in Durham/Newcastle by the way. http://www.forum.mkiiisupra.net/showthread.php?t=31700&page=

I have been outside for an hour with feeler gauges and multimeter....I'm ready to explode now though, just cant get anything like what I should be getting reading wise. What exactly is the problem? TheTurtleshead
Check the vacuum hose to your map sensor and the wiring, could have a split.
Colin-mkiv
I might have cracked it, I've set it up as per another set of instructions I have found.....I shall report back after I have given her a sound thrashing!!
Colin-mkiv
It is now back to how it was before I messed with it, albeit not as it should be I can live with it til I source a replacement TB etc.
Swampy442
So you think the tps is the source of the problem? Don't think it is man. Anyway you can calibrate the tps by flooring the accelerator pedal with the ignition off, hold it down, turn the ignition on and hold the pedal down for a minute. Hellstrom
Is it à reset for the tps/tcs? I did it and its pretty straight forward onde you got the hand of it
Colin-mkiv
I'll try that one! Yes, I did it eventually with the multimeter. Still a bit iffy though.
