Guest mikemike4
Hi Folks...hope i find you all well. This is my first post so excuse me if i put something where it shouldnt be[sHOCK][/sHOCK]. I have a 94 Supra manual 5 speed Jap. Had it 15 years and its been the best thing i ever bought. Original Clutch/exaust ant the only thing mechanically ive done to it is recondition the electrical and mechanical starter(both). Needs two bits of minor cosmetic attention now though. For the past four years i have got my mechanic to rub back the rust bubbling under the rear arches which has not encroached upon the main quarterpanel. Have had it at a body specialist but he says the rear QP s are double skinned and hard to work at!! would like a more long term solution any ideas? Also my ample proportions have led to the Drivers seat splitting along the seam a few inches)half leather model so front seats cloth) Have sourced automotive upholstry repair but notice there is a zipper aling the back...take it there is no way a new one can be obtained? Suppose thats quite enough for a first post....however before i go i will just tell you how i heard of this forum. About three years ago i drove into Sainsburys to buy some shopping and was followed in by an immaculate blue Supra Targa. To my suprise it parked beside me and the young couple inside appeared to greet me. They thought i was going to the Supra Owners Club meeting which they assumed was in the car park. They were lost and had followed me . They told me they both had Supras and their immaculate 500hp targa belonged to the girl. One fast lady. Robzki
15years?!?!?! where the bloody 'ell have you been? welcome and all that. The ample proportions part made me laugh, and a little sad if I'm honest as I have a rather large, seat ripping frame myself. Rob

Guest mikemike4
15 yrs well let me put it this way...my wife would tell anyone who will listen that i (and she) suffer from grumpy old man syndrome:eyebrows: and up to about 6-7 years ago i would pontificate that the Internet was a fad that would never catch on!...hope that goes some way to explain. ps dont even get me started on this tweety pie/facebook lark..HELL NO ..I WONT GO pps Sincere thank you to all the kind words of welcome and might put some pics up at some stage. Edited May 18, 2012 by mikemike4 adding thanks (see edit history)
Guest mikemike4
Yes thanks still enjoying it...it still drives as the day i got it and i dont think it has lost any sharpness at all. Looks well and i havnt even had to recharge the aircon or change a sparkplug. Virtual Zero maintanance cant last forever of course but im prepared to spend whatever it takes to keep her going as she s a part of me now, and ,being a lifelong Petrolhead shudder to think what i would have spent and lost on other exploits.
