SupraJames
Just wondering if anyone has one of these in their Supra or has used one. Reason being is I bought one via Ebay from a very well known company and when it turned up it is approx half the size of my current Pitwork Oil filter, I have not tried to fit it as im pretty sure looking at the size it will be too small. The filter itself is about 65mm tall and diameter of 70mm. The Ebay auction states it fits a JZA80, but after some digging around found this http://www.hks-power.co.jp/product_search/product/639 This is the fitment list for said filter on the main HKS Japan website, the first section is the Toyota bit and no where on the list is the 2JZ engine, so according to HKS it will not fit a Supra. When I queried this with the company I bought it from I was told they sell around 20 a month to Supra owners and have never had any come backs. So thought I would ask on here. Thanks James
Lee P
They don't actually do one for the supra but as long as the thread and diameter is the same you can use it. Personally I would use a genuine stock Toyota one.
SupraJames
Cheers Lee, I am using a sandwich plate as you know, thread looks the same size just the filter that looks small, well I am sending it back anyway, and will pop to Mr T on Sat and grab one as wanted to do an oil change this weekend.
