RICHARDA
Guys I am hoping this is a simple one, but when trying refit the bracket that clamps the top of the battery, the long bolt at the rear of the battery nearest the power steering res. does not seem to clamp onto anything anymore. It sounds tricky to explain but at the bottom end of this bolt it has a weird kind of hook that looks like it should attatch to the battery tray in some way in order to clamp the battery back down? Anyone else had this problem and know what the hell I'm on about? My back aches like hell after bending over trying to work out this fiddley little thing! Please help. dude
No wonder you want me to fit your cam covers !!!, it should just hook in the battery tray , there is a little slot where it goes , when it catches keep some tension on it or it will pop out again . RICHARDA
Thats what it looks like John but I was trying for ages with this thing with no luck - maybe it was just me as I had just driven back from Boxhill. I must have seen you there John I came over to your car and was speaking to Phil the fixer, but left around two o'clock as the missus was getting bored (how dare she!) and wanted to go home. Icidentally we were at the Shell garage on the A23 for the convoy down but you never showed up, did you meet up elsewhere? Cheers bud Rich (Looking forward to those cam covers)
