EMPEROR
hi emperor, I agree its not the boost lines. i followed the vvti diagram for the vacumm lines and If im correct in saying you only blank vacumm lines if you are adding a boost controller due to you trick the ecu ? I didn't put boost controller yet, so everything is stock with me. i did take the first cat off and still done the same. is the oxygen sensor - that comes after the turbos into the little section of the exhaust before the cat ? or is that the lamber sensor ? Oxygen sensor and Lambda are one and same thing... yes the sensor right after the turbos. Check for the part number. VVTI Vacumm diagram - it was one of yourt posts emperor. It show the 1994 GTE engine and also VVTI GTE engine http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?250370-Can-anyone-tell-me-where-do-these-vacuum-lines-go&highlight=vvti+air+pipes Those vacuum lines are not connected on the VVTi engine. Just the support is one and same for nonVVTi and VVTi engines.

Yes wewsupra engine is stock aswell - the only thing that is different is the air induction. wewsupra as a apexi filter and hard pipe instead of the standard vvti air box. Yes i thought so, just double checking regarding the oxygen sensor Well i follow where all the air pipes should go using this diagram to put back the boost pipes that was blanked off for the boost controller so they are back to stock - how they should be with out a turbo controller. EMPEROR
Just check the oxygen sensor part number when you have time. I am beginning to think I'm using the wrong one. Did yours come with the engine?
SpeedyAndy
Yes mate. It came with the engine.
spikedjack
You're missing the point Andy, there are 4 vac lines not connected that are blanked off that haven't been re connected. If you want to test the housing for the maf then I can bring my filter setup for mine and test that on the car to eliminate any issues. Something is amiss somewhere that hasnt been seen. Me and other Andy will come and look at it tonight and see what's up. May even be able to relay some stuff to you lacho on facebook later and see if between us we can sort it
SpeedyAndy
OK then... yes bring your filter set up - that will eliminate the maf issues. Edited May 30, 2012 by SpeedyAndy (see edit history)

spikedjack
running fine minus a slight idle issue. i would be good money on that being down to one of those vac hoses inlet side though rich. sort out the charcoal canister piping too
wewsupra
thanks jack mate if any one seachs this in future u need proper maf pipe end of lol
SpeedyAndy
yeah jack, i will down on friday night and saturday sorting every thing out. I'm glad we got to the issue which was the MAF. Emperor - check your maf isn't playing up mate, as this has played a big part of wewsupra car. With the ideling issue - its abit lumpy. There is a lamba sensor under the car that fits in to the old cat - 1994 engine version. Does this need to be in the exhaust on the VVTI as i do beleive on the vvti there is a lamba sensor after the turbo's but before the cat ? EMPEROR
VVTi engine has only 1 oxygen sensor right after the turbos, before the first cat. So the idle problem is not because of the 2nd oxygen sensor not connected. I guess you'll have to clean the throttle valve out of oil and adapt the TPS to the ECU again, as it didn't have battery for some time and most probably lost the settings.
