Chris Wilson
Pics of a Supra here without engine. Anyone ever wondered if they designed it to also take the Lexus 4 litre V8? Looks as if it would drop in nicely. PICS HERE

Bobbeh
ROFL I love the way he managed to sneak in a few shots of his Peacocks every chance he gets That Supra looks sad, kinda like its had its heart cut out
Chris Wilson
I'm not looking sad, I'll be writing the bill out soon Talking of peafowl, ones just hatched a chick this afternoon. I was about to take the eggs off her, I thought they should have hatched 3 days ago. I apologized to her...
SteveR
I'm good with a welding torch and crowbar... You're good at servicing and making upgrade bits for the Supra too, so I'm told - and you're the nearest to me here in Malvern - so is there any chance you could reply to my email from a few weeks ago re:servicing my new supe please Chris?
Chris Wilson
SteveR. I may have missed your mail, I have been incredibbly busy and have been unable to reply to all e-mails. Can you resend it please? Or e-mail me your phone number and I'll call you. Once the "engineless" Supra is out (early next week), i should be able to take on some more servicing work. Apologies for missing your e-mail.
SteveR
ok thanks Chris, I'm at work so will give you a call once I finish later today if that's ok? After all I want the best for my Supe!
JohnA
Chris, does the aquamist pump fit OK where it appears on your pics? That was the first place I considered, but it wouldn't clear the bonnet by several millimetres. Is there a catch?
Ian C
The point is... its better than 1400 bhp Whats the point of anything! I know it's a real "because we can" moment, and the engineering and stuff is to be applauded but can you imagine popping to Tesco's in that -Ian
Gaz Walker
I know it's a real "because we can" moment, and the engineering and stuff is to be applauded but can you imagine popping to Tesco's in that -Ian The lex V8 will go in no problem. HKS have done it as Bobbeh says, so have Sound Performance - with a Y2K turbo strapped to it. Gaz.

Chris Wilson
JohnA: It clears OK, but I no longer fit them there. I think an alarm was in the way when i fitted that one, but it was years ago.
JohnA
JohnA: It clears OK, but I no longer fit them there. I think an alarm was in the way when i fitted that one, but it was years ago. I don't get it. Mine wouldn't clear by almost HALF AN INCH, the bonnet wouldn't even close properly! :thumbdown Is the UK Spec any different, people swap bonnets with no issues, don't they? Were the top cooling fins of the pump trimmed in any way? I fitted it on the front in the end, inside the 'dead' space behind the radiator upper ducting, but I'd prefer it to be where you had it. (sorry for the thread hijack)
b_have
Mine fits in a similar place John.
JohnA
Charlie, yours is near the bulkhead, isn't it? that's where mine's got all the EGR crap (what a waste of space those are) Chris has got them driver's side next to the strut. There's no way mine would fit there. Have these cars got the underbonnet insulation trimmed ?
Aerotop Dave
The lex V8 will go in no problem. HKS have done it as Bobbeh says, so have Sound Performance - with a Y2K turbo strapped to it. Gaz. Blimey, what did that produce?
Gaz Walker
Blimey, what did that produce? Its not finished till next season so no figures as yet. I'd expect at least the same as the HKS car. The HKS car is insane though, 1500hp as Bobbeh says. Gaz.
