Colin-mkiv
Has anyone got any idea how to set up the TPS on an NA engine? I have a code 41 which I suspect may be causing a rough idle issue. I also have a code 24, which points to the intake temp sensor, is this the sensor that is on the air intake pipework? Thanks in advance. thomo8568
I've looked for this be for as had a problem with my tps, could only find one for the mk3. I fixed mine by removing the cable plug, cleaning the connecters and making sure they were a tight fit. Don't know if it will help, but could be worth a try. Graham1984
Geo has a IAC cleaning guide in the stickies mate although that was for a Single T the principle is still the same surely. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?210956-How-To-Clean-Idle-Control-Valve-Cleaning-Aka-ICV-(IAC)
Colin-mkiv
Yeah, I read that, but I dont have a fault code on that so wasn't going to touch it, I dont suppose it would do any harm though would it?Geo has a IAC cleaning guide in the stickies mate although that was for a Single T the principle is still the same surely. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?210956-How-To-Clean-Idle-Control-Valve-Cleaning-Aka-ICV-(IAC)

I am a helmet so I have no right to advise anyone on anything although it is still a rough idle issue so surely an easy one to do. I think on the NA you can remove it without taking anything else off too... Result in my eyes.
