This has been covered more times than a seasoned porn star, use the search box.

Or alternatively…don't be a dick and reply in a helpful manner :)

Your auto gearbox loom will have a large grey plug on it. I am not sure about the colours, but I think you join the two red and black wires together. This makes the car think it's in neutral, et voila it will start :) I will go look up the colours now for you bud :)

What's the point in the search then if nobody bothers to use it? There is a comprehensive guide in the Tech section is there not?

It's the black, and black and white wires that need to be joined. :) Not black and red!

Man up darling, you have doubtless asked a question or two for which the answer is readily available. I hate the attitude that some people take towards others asking questions. We are a community are we not? helping each other out should be what we do best!

Very well put! Many people are put off asking Qs for fear of being shot down (me included) and then lose interest in the site altogether.

Yes true but when people have gone to the effort of making a comprehensive guide for people such as the OP, shouldn't they put in a little effort looking to see if it has been covered before? Otherwise what's the point in making them if the the forum gets swamped with the same repeated questions.

The original comment was tongue in cheek comment maybe I should have put a smiley on it.

Good luck I hope you do get it working, but your dyslexia would be just as problematic reading the replies above. I don't want to get into an arguement here, I hope everything goes well.
