Samurai 20V
Hi all.. Just some conformation on using paypal..I am new at it and the website is not giving me much help. I want to sell some items, currently my paypal account is linked to my credit card, I usually pay directly from the card... If someone transfers money to me, it will just credit in my paypal account, correct? If I want to access the funds, I should link my bank account to it or I could use the funds to pay for other stuff correct? So I just need to give my email address to the buyer. Do I need to get my account verified to receive funds? Thanks..
Supra Gaz
All spot on mate, you do need your account verified to receive money back. Just set up your bank account as you have said, it withdraws a small amount, like 23p and you have to tell it how much they took. Takes a couple of days. Colin-mkiv
Paypal will send 2 small amounts to your account, you will then have to confirm those amounts with Paypal to verify that it is your own account that you are using. You can hold funds in Paypal indefinitely to use as money for items you buy on Ebay etc or any other Paypal user who you have transactions with. Much easier than cheques etc. If its a Supra Club member, you'd usually send payments as a gift, meaning no commission is taken from the amount and the seller on here gets their full asking price for an item. You can transfer monies to your bank account (once confirmed) free of charge and it usually takes 3 working days. You can also request money from your account/card. Email address to the buyer will allow them to pay you Via Paypal
