LOGIE
ok so ive tracked down an engine locally to me at a breakers yard the guy says its from a supra i might go and see it on monday, what i want to know is how can i tell the difference between a supra and an aristo lump by looking at it? I know the sump is different but not easily seen. Ta

LOGIE
dont think so mate, it was actually a mate that found it for me at a scrappy near mossend. I'll ask if you like.. what pieces you looking for?
JakeG
The sump is easy to spot mate, aristo has a forward facing one, few wires and stuff are different also but the sumps the main thing
LOGIE
The sump is easy to spot mate, aristo has a forward facing one, few wires and stuff are different also but the sumps the main thing from what ive been told fitting an aristo lump is a pain as a lot of parts need swapped? I thought it should have been easier to spot the difference between the two. cheers jake.
-K1
you can easy see if it's a aristo or supra engne as the stock bov and piping are different (stock bov on aristo are screwed. on supra they are on a pipe). i got a aristo engine in my supra.. Swampy442
Sump is the most obvious difference.
