Shout if you want any bits, some key components are common with the Supra, particularly the NA.

It's the top of the range Sport model, so full electric, heated everything. Everything works exactly as it should apart from the stater motor which has started to suffer from a sticking solenoid. The bodywork is shabby in places so most of that probably isn't much use, but all the mechanicals seemed fine on the 2,000 miles Scumrun the car just completed without even a hiccup. :)

EVERYTHING is available, apart from:

  • alloys
  • the exhaust after the cats (manifold, downpipe & cats are available)
  • front grille maybe
  • headlights maybe

Shout out if you want anything and I'll give a full & frank description of the part's condition and photos too if possible.

The engine has done 160k miles but runs perfectly and pulls really well. If anyone wants any videos then shout now because in 24 hours I'll have been at it with the spanners and it might not be driveable any longer!

Glad to see you made it , how was the trip?, btw i may still be interested in the engine.

Young mans' game, we only stayed up till 3am and when driving chose the more interesting routes. :)

No probs, just let me know :)

I love that colour, it's one of the best Toyota did IMO. So you're not tempted to get an Aristo TT yet Steve? :)

It was a really lovely car, I can't think of anything better to take on the trip we just did, but over the mountains the brakes weren't up to it and a manual box would have been more engaging. A TT version with manual gears and bigger brakes must be a hoot! Sadly, I have too many cars, so this one has to go and not be replaced for a while. :(

I've had 2 PMs from people who's inboxes are full s my reply does't get through. To answer their queries here:

The wheels are not for sale (I did say this above).

I have no idea if the manifold has any advantages over that fitted to the NA Supra - I suspect not - and that's assuming it fits.

Swampy, I just found a electronics box hidden away inside the centre armrest/glove box, right at the back just above the rear passenger ciggie lighter/air vent. Any idea what it is? I'm not sure if it's OEM or not as it's cable tied in but had proper wiring loom going to it. It says "Toyota TVSS" on it and it has a dial with + and - on it.

Mate, how much for the whole car?

Most of the interior is out now, I'll give you a call if you PM me your number and we can discuss. I am having the alloys though so you'd need to sort some wheels for it, and the exhaust is bespoke. :)

Pretty sure it's a shock sensor for the alarm - there was one on my LS400
