stevie_b
Another vote here for code 42. Code 42 isn't at all serious, and it would be fine to keep driving it. It's still a good idea to get it sorted out though.
lewysdanny
Thanks guys, but how do i go about getting these warning lights extinguished ???
FOSTA
Once you have found the fault by doing a fault code check, just disconnect your battery for around 3mins and that will clear any fault codes that's stored in your ecu Edit: obviously fix the problem before resetting you ecu lol Edited May 11, 2012 by FOSTA (see edit history)
Digsy
If its a code 42 it will come right back though. As stated above verify which code it is and then if it is a 42 there are a couple of options to fix it. If its something else then there will probably be a way to fix that, too. listy
What is a code 42? Please excuse my lack of knowledge
stevie_b
Code 42 is officially a speed sensor error, but the actual problem usually isn't the speed sensor but either a duff odometer or speed converter.
