Another MKV Supra

The problem with these concept cars and photoshop mockups are they will never actually be made.

However, the new Acura (Honda) NSX has made it to workable concept as driven by Tony Stark in the Avengers and is extremely sexy. http://cache.jalopnik.com/assets/images/12/2011/09/tony_stark_acura.jpg

Hopefully this will be a production car the same as the Audi R8 and Audi R8 Spyder from the previous Ironman films :)

Looks like the R8 gave them lots of inspiration.

I was actually quite excited when I heard this news, but when I continued further on in the article I read, my heart sank at the words "AWD", "Mid engined" and "Hybrid".

And they're actually planning to model it around their current concept car; the GRMN:

Not sure about you guys, I think it looks pretty cool as a general sports car. But it's nowhere near what a Supra should be, in my opinion.

yeah that's right. the silhouette of the LF-LC is much more a supra that the GRMN. The GRMN is a MR2 in my opinion....

But in general.... the design of these new-modern cars will never reach the simple and clean design o the MKIV Supra - never....

regards, Herbert
