Dan_Q
Hi All, Just wondering if anyone knew off the top of their heads, done a quick search but no joy- what type of valve lifters does the 2JZ-GE engine use? I imagine with the age of them they might be shim under bucket type but that'd only be a guess. Does anyone know the diameter of them? Having a clearout from my 3S days and wondering whether to hold onto the shims I have or not. Thanks very much Dan
Chris Wilson
They are shim atop bucket, just like the TT ones. same part numbers.

Thanks for that chris, sounds like they are similar to a rev2 3S design- i'll keep hold of my kit just incase
Hellstrom
The shims are 28mm diameter iirc. Pretty hard to come by (other then Toyota) think some Yamaha and Honda bikes are similar.
