Ibrar Jabbar
Looks like I may need a picture after all, I have a pink wire and no red/yel wire, anybody help? I also need a picture of the pinout for the VVTi 2 pin plug. Thanks. Edited May 14, 2012 by Ibrar Jabbar added red/yel (see edit history)
EMPEROR
What colors do you have on your wiring? And which VVTi 2 pin plug are you talking about? The ignition condenser next to the igniter? If you are after the ignition condenser: Pin1 - Brown - GND Pin2 - Black-White - Grey footwell connector Pin 1 (12V Ignition) Edited May 13, 2012 by EMPEROR (see edit history)
Ibrar Jabbar
Here's a pic of the wiring for the igniter. I have 8 wires in total. http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=151688&d=1337032131 Red/white Yellowish Green Black/White Green Brown Yellow Blue/Yellow Pink. Here's a pic of the plug for the VVTi, just need to know which way round the wires should be. http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=151689&d=1337032131 Brown/Blk Brown/red Edited May 14, 2012 by Ibrar Jabbar (see edit history)
EMPEROR
Mate, this is just not a Supra wiring harness... I am pretty sure you have Aristo reworked one... VVTi solenoid wires are: Pin 1 - White-Red - ECU D18 Pin 2 - Yellow-Black - ECU D17 Your colors doesn't match at all, so just unplug connector D from the ECU and trace pin 18 and 17... So is for the igniter. You have to trace which color goes where in the ECU as I gave you the pins above. There you are the ECU pinout: http://www.2jzgarage.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Supra_2JZGTE_VVTi_ECU_Pinouts.pdf

Rob W
Ibrar there is a few pics in Pauls strut brace thread which clearly show the colours. Saying that I am zooming in on my iPhone, but hopefully will help you.

EMPEROR
According to Paul's pic wires are as follow: 1. Blue/Yellow 2. Yellow 3. Brown 4. Red-Yellow 5. Pink 6. Yellowish Green 7. Red/white 8. N/A 9. Black/White 10. Green With only difference Pin 5 being Pink instead of Green (it's the same wire coming from ECU D13 pin), but still you are missing the Red-Yellow wire mate (coming from ECU D25 pin), that's for sure! Check if it's not cut somewhere back in the harness... As for the VVTi Solenoid they are: Pin 1 - White-Red - ECU D18 Pin 2 - Yellow-Black - ECU D17 I have genuine Supra VVTi wiring. So you just have to trace them back to the pins of the ECU. Edited May 16, 2012 by EMPEROR (see edit history)
