Guest lancemccoo Posted May 7, 2012 Share Posted May 7, 2012 hey guys im just single turboing my na but im jst looking at the oil feeds im welding a return into the sump but for the feed i was going to come off a oil sandwich plate but feel it will be better coming off from the standeard place for a turbo. i read an artical that said that there is a bolt to remove on the side of the engine and put an out feed onto it but im not sure were to take it off so just woundered if you guys could help heres a pics of were i think it needs to come from ...... please tell me if im wrong or if it isnt possible to come off this side of the engine or will i need to come off an oil sandwich plate. cheers, lance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Swampy442 Posted May 7, 2012 Share Posted May 7, 2012 To the right and a bit down of the casting you circled is one of the returns, you oil feed will come from the front of the engine, by the oil pump. garethr Posted May 7, 2012 Share Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) I think N/A-Ts usually use the oil filter housing bolt for the turbo oil feed. You can either drill and tap the existing bolt for a connector, or use the bolt from a Lexus GS300 (VVTi) or IS300 (part number 90401‑19008), which is ready to use because it's already tapped for an oil pressure switch.
