Prof. Monkey
Hi guys, be and the gaffer (G/F) are going on holiday shortly to france, going from Dover to Calais. We are driving down to Dover from Hull. What I want to know is which car should I go in? 1) The Supra 2) Our runabout: 53plate, (had from new) VW Lupo 16V Sport 100bhp edition. Oh feck I cant decide, you lot do it for me, by the way I will be doing ALL the driving! CHeers
michael
Depends what the petrol budget it but the Supra has to be a lot better than a Lupo for longer runs?
Prof. Monkey
Depends what the petrol budget it but the Supra has to be a lot better than a Lupo for longer runs? goodness yes! The Lupo is nippy, will do a 120 leptons at a push, but the legroom at the front for the pedals is pants,I am 6ft 1inch.
Gazboy
I did High Wycombe to the A12 junction of the M25 last Saturday (and back), the round trip took 3.5 hrs (it was hell on the return journey), I took my Getz 1.3, and tbh, the money I saved on fuel didn't outweigh the back ache when I got home. Take the Supra, I wish I did.

The continent is the best place to go in the Supra...the open road, hardly any cars on the road..dont deprive yourself of this opportunity... Every time you pull up anywhere it will be like arriving at a Film Premiere. Spoil yaselves... Si
