stevie_b
I didn't vote this time. I didn't receive anything through the post, no leaflet drops, not even a polling card. I didn't know for sure that there was a local election in my patch until I looked up the results this morning on the BBC website.
johnny g
These don't mean anything really. It's mid term bluster. Labour now can only go down and Tory up. Lib Dem are finished. Biggest winner last night was apathy.
Bobbeh
No voting in my area.. sounds like a poor turnout too sadly, hence probably explains the size of the labour gains this time round. I don't think its been particularly exciting election.
Josh
I got there, got the card and thought "oh yeah, I'm supposed to vote for someone". Didn't give it a single thought until I got the card, so I voted UKIP as there was a £ sign on their name and I like getting money. Yeah, I was in a daze. And that, my friends, is why referendums are a bad idea in this country.
merckx
I decided to apply for a postal vote to make it easier and wouldn't have the excuse that I couldn't be bothered to go to the polling station, but they were put to one side when they came and I forgot all about it. If I was in a marginal constituency I would definitely vote but Labour have always had a massive majority (North East England) so my vote never makes any difference. I know if everyone said this, but they don't.
