Noz
How long should coilovers last, I seem to have one corner slowly lowering. I thought it could of been them needing readjusting since fitting and me not noticing it, but after giving it some beans last night it seems to have got worst. Had them about a year, done around 5k miles. Seems a bit strange to need to replace them already, could it be another component making the car drop. It seems softer on that side as well when cornering. Any advice opinions welcome.
Robzki
It could be your new modification causing it? If you let me know by PM where the new Mod is I'll decide. Did you buy them new? I'm looking for new coilovers but am surprised at the longevity of these if it is a leaking shock. I can't think of anything else it could be. sorry, not much help Rob
Chucky_waR
This is the reason why I'm replacing my HKS hypermax with Stock shocks.. The coilovers just dont last very long unless you pay thousands for a decent set. Ask any trader that knows coilovers and they would agree... garethr
If the corner is dropping, surely it can only be a weak or broken spring, or a broken or loose adjustment collar (or a knackered bush or top mount, I suppose, but they couldn't drop very far).
