cornimac
Saw the committee thread and will volunteer to help - give me time to think about how best I can offer genuine support and I'll put my name down. Should be a great meet and will take quite some organising - great idea for a committee - I guess the other thing to point out is that it won't only be on the day people need committable time for, there's all the organising stuff beforehand too. Well done peeps - makes me proud to be British
Whitelightning
Ok, committee thread is here Nominations or volunteers, the list isnt final and we have alot of planning to do. Do not be afraid of just adding comments to the forums if you cannot assist physically We should have a short list of venues within a week or two, then we can get a census of popularity. Guest SavageDK
I would have to agree, Circuit is better than Drag. Drag has been tried over and over everywhere, legal and illegal I volunteer for anything i can do from my current location and i will assist at the meet whereever i can. Guest Soldier9
Wow this is great! I'm amazed at the how serious you guys are about this already, and I really look forward to attending this meet! I hope the Danish guys bring their sisters over here when they come I might bring my sister along... Anyone willing to trade their mk4 for her? Guest SavageDK
One of our ESM2005 crew just pointed out something. The germans also wanted to plan something, maybe you/we should see what they have planned? It would be rather stupid if there are 2x ESM's in the same year Although... would probably mean twice the fun!!!
Guest SavageDK
Another thing, is it possible to make the post sticky so it stays on top of the gatherings and events list? Would probably make planning a lost easier and catch more peoples attention. Just an idea Michael

I wanna go to Germany - we can go fast there
Guest SavageDK
Im not sure they are organizing something, but if they are its better to talk to them and figure something out together instead of two parties creating each their own meet A good idea would be to get a dedicated ESM website where people can sign up to some forums and share their ideas. It would be easier for everyone to manage, of course each club would have to be informed of the sites existence for it to work. What do you think about this? Whitelightning
What do you think about this? Wibble. Yep, good idea. Someone needs to register http://www.eurosuprameet.com/ or http://www.europeansuprameet.com/ and point it at these forums for now. Could this be a job for SUPER TED ? er Keith ? ESM.com has already been taken. I think Faye has registered it already for English Supra Marriages (.com) lol ! (Oh im sooooo gonna get flamed!) Jspec Germany
Which one registered? Link to new site por favor? A lot of good points so far. Not so much interested in committee work, but the coordination amongst other European supra sites needs to happen. Does anybody have links to other European supra sites (think outside the box and include all models). I'll start searching as well.
Jspec Germany
Perhaps we can get the word out to other countries to draw interest. Here is a list of other supra sites that I found around Europe: http://www.sonid.dk/ http://www.supras.nl/ http://www.malmoe.toyota-center.se/ntsc/sprtcar2.htm http://www.supras.co.uk/ http://www.toyota-supra-club.de/ http://www.ma70.de/ http://www.mkiv.cz http://supra-team.pl http://gportal.hu/portal/csocso-supra/ http://board.supras.be/ http://www.celica-supra-team.ch

Chiefgroover
Uk host sounds good to me, preferably not the south of England, maybe York and use Elvington? or something similar?
Jspec Germany
I'm up for Germany! However, should it take place in England somewhere, I will make the trek. The farther south, the better for we unlucky few that live "off-island".
