davis6110
This may sound crazy but ever since i have been a part of this club i haved loved it, then i purchased my first supra, a nice little NA with a few nice mods, the only problem is now i crave more power after only a few weeks of owning my NA, everyday i come on here and look at NA-T builds, i must look at the same NA-T kit every day about 10 times, i even sit at home at night looking round thinking what can i sell to get enough for a kit or what if i win just a couple of grand on the lotto lol, its starting to depress me haha, saving is going tooooooooooo slow at the moment, iv even looked at getting a better paid job haha, am i crazy ? Ok so i paid £3k for my supra so if i save hard for a year then sell mine i should be able to afford a single or a TT, that was one of my ideas to haha

This is why i wanted to put my own kit together, im currently waiting on someone supplying me with a full list of every single thing i will need for an NA-T conversion so i can buy parts as and when i can afford them
TubbyTwo
There is a TT auto in the sale section for £3500...... HTH
Lbm
Not everyone can afford to pay out £6000 in one go though. True, but if he sells his NA, it will not be £6000 to find. Also, if affordable loans are available, then that changes things nicely

Colin-mkiv
Yeah, theres always arguments for and against, I realise this. But maybe he only had £3000 and didnt want a loan so decided to buy a Supra now rather than in a years time when cars might be made illegal and we all have to.....ride bikes.....an stuff....?True, but if he sells his NA, it will not be £6000 to find. davis6110
Well i think the decision has been made, ill save hard for a year maybe a year and a half and try to afford a single or a TT, i can easily save around £3k in a year so that along with the sale of mine should find me a half decent auto TT or single shouldnt it

listy
Search for "budget n/a-t builds" and see how much people have done them for. Or, sell the n/a, and get an auto TT

davis6110
Saving is the way forward but its hard for me as i after everything is paid each month i dont have an aweful lot left over to save, but something good has just come up which is a little job on the side for my dads business in which i get an extra £100 a week for about 4 hours work a week across 2 nights during the week, its a good start, i just have to put it somehwhere and forget about it and be content with my NA for the time being i think, the thing is i think when it comes to it im gonna end up selling and buying a single or TT which is not what i intended to do when i brought my NA because i was looking forward to the idea of converting this car thats been an NA all its life into something faster. We will see when the time comes.
