GeordieSteve
My guess is discovering something or someone that awakens a feeling inside them that they've never had before. You discover there is a world that is bigger than just your safe bubble ...http://www.songfacts.com/detail.lasso?id=2625
SkyJawa
No they aren't a Christian band. Just on a label other Christian bands are on. BTW - EVANESCENCE RULE!
MaveriK
You mean its not about some bird going sleep wall crawling in her jammies, getting to the top and trying to pull some bloke off (steady now )

martynb
Yup - good album but I'm never sure who they really are. The guy she pulled off wasn't part of the band, they were only a two piece and the founder left as that single was a hit. Is it just her and session musicians now? SkyJawa
The guy from Bring Me To Life was a guest vocal, he's Paul McCoy of 12 Stones. Ben Moody and Amy Lee are Evanescence, but Ben left (loads of rumours to reasons) after their 3/4th hit and has gone on to work solo and do alot of writing. He's recently had a duet with Anastacia which is class from the Fantastic 4 film. He would come up with the music to the songs and Amy Lee would put lyrics to it. Evanescence is now made up (not just session musicians, actual band members) of: Amy Lee - Lead Vocals John LeCompt - Guitar Will Boyd - Bass Terry Balsamo - Guitar Rocky Gray - Drums

SkyJawa
Nope - just a big fan of the band. Admittedly needed Evanescence.com for the band members names.............
garetheves
Evanescence are good but IMO Lacuna Coil and Nightwish are better. Got my tickets to see Lacuna Coil through the other day. Bring it on.
