SupraStar 3000
With deep regret, i'm selling my model Helicopter Raptor RC Helicopter with professionally built and fitted Breitling MD500E fuselage. This is a real 'eye catching' model and looks awesome in the air. I've spent so much time and effort on this model, so I'll be genuinely sad to see it sold. Have flown this helicopter without problems for a few years now, and it's without doubt, my favorite. Flies absolutely fantastically and is as steady as a rock, when in a hover. Goes without saying, this is for experienced flyers only, as being a scale model, you wouldn't want to crash. PZbGlChwnXA The phone is to give an idea of scale - This is huge! Never been crashed or had any flying mishaps. Never needed to replace blades from ground strike etc. Has been converted from fuel to electric. East Midlands Helicopters did some of this work and set-up the speed controller to insure a successful conversion. No more smell, heavy equipment to lug about, mess or fuel needed. Just switch on and fly. Has a spectrum receiver and satellite fitted, so just bind and fly to a spectrum handset. Also sold with all necessary chargers etc including Graupner Ultramat 16 (only used a few times and worth £100) So all you need is your own spectrum handset. The fuselage is in great condition with no cracks or damage. Carbon rear blades Real strobes fitted Tinted windows Only negative points are: The lipos need replacing as their coming to the end of their life. They hold charge, but only 2 minutes. I also noticed the strobes have suddenly stopped working. Maybe loose wire - I'll investigate OPEN TO SENSIBLE OFFERS of around £500 Listed on ebay. Any questions, Please ask. Due to size and delicate nature, pick-up only (from Loughborough) Weather permitting, can be demonstrated to winning buyer.

SupraStar 3000
lol. I've quite a collection of failed Helicopter attempts too Gaz. Fit training legs, keep behind the tail, practice, practice, practice,... and stay low.

SupraStar 3000
I will ask about for you mate, sad to see you selling it Thank you buddy. Much appreciated. that looks like epic fun! It is,.... but also quite stressful concentrating so much, on the 'not crashing' part
Aero-M
Just like to say I brought a scale heli from ed and the quality and attention to detail was superb, so wouldn't even hesitate buying this if I had the money spare right now.
SupraStar 3000
Cheers mate. I really appreciate that. How is the helicopter? If i could, I'd keep this as it represents such a lot of head scratching and hard work. My problem is, one false move or radio glitch and thats £600 gone, and I can't afford that to happen. The only other alternative it so put it on the shelf,... but I'd rather the money right now. Council tax and washing machine repair kinda leaves no room for toys. straightsix
How hard is it to grasp the controls, Ed mate? You're asking the guy who struggled with the boot release on his car....
SupraStar 3000
You're asking the guy who struggled with the boot release on his car.... Shut your face! That looks great and I don't have one either! How hard is it to grasp the controls, Ed mate? For a man or your talents Andrew, pretty easily I would have thought. I've seen your collection of Bikes,... i reckon your hand and eye coordination is pretty sharp. But I wont lie to you good mate. Juggling the controls whilst compensating engine torque, balancing the pitch and yaw, whilst fighting mother nature takes some practice. I've lost count of the crashes I've had with smaller models. Sadly, this model is not for beginners. The fuselage is not easily replaceable for a start, and those carbon blades cost a fortune. Not wishing to put you off my friend,... simply wouldn't want to see you waste your cash,... or worse,... hurt yourself. This is a very large helicopter. I've seen the blades go through a conifer tree, like a knife through butter. Would easily chop off any dangly bits,... which is why I dont fly nude. What you need matey, is a small 450 size pod and boom with training skids. I'd recommend something like the Esky King II. Thats what i started on,... and easily repaired. You'd also have the benefit of me,.... 24/7 help and advise on whenever you want.

SupraStar 3000
You guys LOL!! Rob,.. despite what you think, I have been linked to the word Genius before,... so STFU! Or,... was it anus? I may have miss-heard! Humm,.. "Ed, take that hamster out of your anus" Yep, I think it was anus. Sorry Rob I think Hitler was just misunderstood.... like everything everyone always remembers the bad stuff over the good. Agreed! He was a great Dog trainer and a pretty talented artist too. Of course, we only remember the lamp shades made from Human skin and small war he got mixed up in. Oh great! The curse of Graham has hit my thread and derailed it..... ... back on with the sale. Anyone want to have a play with my chopper?
Robzki
You guys LOL!! Rob,.. despite what you think, I have been linked to the word Genius before,... so STFU! Or,... was it anus? I may have miss-heard! Humm,.. "Ed, take that hamster out of your anus" Yep, I think it was anus. Sorry Rob ... back on with the sale. Anyone want to have a play with my chopper? I'd love to but I fear I may be a little heavy handed. Possibly if you had some rubber balls to support your chopper like I have under mine I could then get it aiming skyward. On a more serious note, what is a spectrum handset? I am steering clear of any comparison to a rectum hand fist. I would love to buy this but money is tight. I have an old heli here that I have had hovering once or twice. I have charged the handset and this is the year to crash fly it. I have no idea how to get experienced enough to be confident to fly anything expensive. rob
