Changing The Air Intake On Non-Turbo

Recommended Posts

i was looking around on various website for something to spend money on for my sup, and i really like the godzilla air intake manifold on suprastore.com (http://www.suprastore.com/2jinmabywope.html). would this be easy to replace with the stock air intake, obviously the power steering would need to be re-located, and the trottle cable would oibvously need moved aswell, are these hard to do? costly? the unit itself is £600, sound like a pointless mod? :) lol

i woulda thought that was more for na-t?

:yeahthat:

I suppose it might be slightly less restrictive than the stock manifold, but would kill the torque curve regardless of whether or not it gave you any more at the top end.

i was planning on going NA-T and i thought that moving the air intake to the right side of the bay would make things easier clearance-wise and keep the temperature of the intake air down? it would also look much better when it comes time to do engine detailing (in the long run) - I DUNNOOOO :[ lolll

im not the most mechanically experienced human being so go easy on me :( haha
