David P
Spotted these Aerocatches on ebay, but when comparing the packaging and the key hole size with the pics in the fake Areocatch thread I reckon they're fake. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251050828958?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_500wt_1287 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?258819-Beware-of-Fake-Aerocatches-Please-check-yours-before-it-s-to-late Maybe I aught to get out a little more more often? Robzki
I'm just waiting on you to find some genuine ones and then I'll order from the same place, Glad you are doing your research, it saves me the bother Its a shame the manufacturer doesn't sell direct as they are fairly local. DodgyRog
Just so you know guys, the Ebay link is for EP Racing, these are the same people that sorted my problem out with the fake Aerocatches in the Fake Aerocatches thread you listed in the first post There customer service was excellent, once I raised that there was a problem, they could not do enough to sort it out and were very apologetic throughout
Robzki
This was the company that sent out the fake ones in the first place Rog? Reread the thread, the company looks all good to me
DodgyRog
Yes mate, but they sorted and had an explanation, which AeroCatch in Totnes back up They are a company to deal with from my experience, I would go back to them after my dealing with them

Robzki
http://www.epracing.co.uk/Performance-Parts/AeroCatch/AeroCatch-Fixing-Plate/p-76-197-2635/ Are the fixing plates worth buying? Looks like they will add some strength to the underside.
David P
I bought the fixing plates, they look to make the job stronger, tidier and easier.
Robzki
I bought the fixing plates, they look to make the job stronger, tidier and easier. That is what I thought, my bonnet is double skin in the area where I think they will fit so will have to have a look at whether it is viable to get the plates in or just drill 6 oversize holes in the underside to get a socket on the nuts. When are you planning on fitting them?
David P
I need to final-fit the charge-cooler to the car engine and mark out the exact position for the bulge before I can do this, but I can't do anything much until the monsoon season has passed.
