Robzki
I had a group of chavs shout from their bmw as they were on the opposite side of a roundabout that their 'grandad used to have one of them' how ironic.

WaLKeRR
someone in a crap car overtakes or attempts, drop a gear and just hold them beside you until he starts to panic and slams on.. i had this problem with my old civic, (due to being loud, alot of mods etc etc) i just dropped a gear and held the car on the wrong side of the road....but when i got the supra about the 3rd night, a civic hatchback went to overtake me, gear down bye....then drive at like 10mph because he knows he isnt fast enough he wont attempt again ino someone will say thats dangerous but so is overtaking like a nonce!, its my personal way to make the muppets learn
kniff_666
It is going to the back wheels, not all of it gets there though. Ok ... well that is what it "should" have had when it came out the factory. Probs down to about 200hp due to age and mechanical losses etc. Feasible?
James
Ok ... well that is what it "should" have had when it came out the factory. Probs down to about 200hp due to age and mechanical losses etc. Feasible? 220/225bhp is flywheel figure for an NA, there are transmission losses even before you account for losses through wear etc.

If your cruising and someone wants to overtake let them, what business is it of yours and what right do you have to risk their and the occupants of on coming traffics lives? Their overtake is almost certainly not dangerous as they have assumed you will not be a prick and accelerate as they do so YOU are making it dangerous not them. Rob W
I cut them off at the start by saying: "just an old Toyota". works a treat. Thats exactly what I say, saves all the time and effort trying to explain.
davis6110
The finniest thing i did was other day when i went up tesco near me which is unfortunately right next door to the local macdonalds and i was with my bird at the time, after we had been into tesco and got our shopping which was stacked on the back parcel shelf that some call seats in a supra she demanded that we went and got milkshakes from macdonalds which i really did not want to do when i see the 20+ chav corsa's, micra's, saxo's etc sitting in the car park, but we went and got some anyway. As i drove past i heard a couple of boys mutter " wow a supra, thats what im talking about " which made me feel pretty cool lol, then they decided to get childish and all started bipping their horns at the same time which was really annoying, so i just plonked the supra in neatral and revved it up couple of times, that soon shut them up HAHA

Or he will do it to the wrong person one day who will follow him home or to the next set of lights and promptly either damage his car or beat seven shades out of him. Easy to p**s people off from the security of your car, different story when said person is at your door.
sdistc
When I had my R33 GTR V-Spec I never had a problem, in fact even porkers used to give me space and respect. However, the Supra seems to attract all sorts of muppets into trying to take you. White van man, lorries, French sh1t boxes, even bloody Rovers and a Prius have had a crack. To be honest I just leave them to it. I'm not wasting my petrol proving a point that doesn't need to be made, it's an NA Auto, it's quick, but not that quick . Wait until I get my Turbo on there, then come back and have a pop Lyndon. Always happens when you're in the town car. Although, my town car is an (albeit stock) Aristo That being said, a mate had a little technique for avoiding "racers" - brakeboost onto the converter and smoke the tyres at 65 mph. Of course, having 700+ whp helps with that.
Dnk
Is this only an NA thing going on ? seems most of you being harrased by corsas etc on the street or even in McDonalds are lacking turbo's
Josh
I get people driving like idiots all the time. I had a Focus with a woman driving overtake me. I was doing the limit in a 30 going up a hill with cars parked either side. She then overtook me as a car pulled out of a road in front of me (perfectly safe pull out) and she nipped in in front of me with inches to spare before hitting my car or the one coming the other way. I followed her, flashing the lights, beeping the horn and flashing the bird until she realised she was an idiot.
AndrewOW
The car looks like it should be going very fast, but when the driver just cruises around at the speed limit, or thereabouts, it seems to wind other drivers up, as they expect you to be zooming around all the time. "Sorry mate, I cannot afford the fuel to do that any more". Not that I did much of that anyway.

tony tt
I never have a problem with muppets wanting to race not even a wind up at all! Maybe its the piller pods that sway them or the complete grumpy im going to kill you look that they dont have a go but in general they just look in the window and trundle past. To the kill by the Prius was it on the engine or electric motor as it passed you

Graham1984
This is the guy to blame There is swearing in it so excuse that but frankly it is the only video I can think of that gives the NA a harder plight than the dodo.
