RZtwin
I read that I'm able to take.the active spoiler off without removing the bumper. Can someone give me a step by step instruction on where and what bolts need to come off so the whole front spoiler comes off as one piece? I already have the headlights off. Thank you! Jay Jay, Bumper and undertray needs to come off. If you are removing it for good you will also need a replacement front undertray which goes up under the bumper (Unless you are fitting an aftermarketkit or a FMIC) . Once the bumper is off it is a fairly easy job to fit/remove. There are 4 main bolts holding the unit to the car , Some smaller M10 bolts on the undertray to bodywork and the electrical connector. If you look 3 or 4 posts down at the moment someone has asked how to fit where I posted a link to an how to.

straightsix
I tried to fit one without removing the bumper and it was a pain. I did take the bumper off in the end just for ease - it doesn't actually take long and I've known it to take less than an hour from start to finish to remove one (bumper off, spoiler off, bumper back on) I wouldn't recommend you try doing it with the bumper in place. RZtwin
Less than an hour? Nice! Do you think you could give me a step by step on how to do it properly? Should I order some clips or anything before I start incase they break? I tried to fit one without removing the bumper and it was a pain. jonc
Removing front bumper http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?40235-How-To-Remove-the-front-bumper-(plus-meshing-guide) Fitting active spoiler (shows you the bolts to the chassis and the electric plug behind the headlight). http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?266007-Active-spoiler-TSRM&p=3352450#post3352450 Also if you are removing permanently are you removing the ECU and switch? If so you will need a blanking plate for the switch. If the ECU and switch are staying then remove the fuse for the power supplies to the active spoiler. PM me if you need help and I will talk you through it
