Right,

 

So i know alot of guys on the forum are into there fitness. So thought i'd start a thread where we can ask all sorts of questions etc etc, and get people's VIEWS and OPINIONS.

 

For me my goals are simple, i want to add weight, and stay as lean as possible. So i'll be trying to document as much as possible. Now i do know my shizzle but i don't know everything, and im also learning everyday with things when it comes to this stuff. So YES im here to ask questions and learn also.

 

So i've set this out for myself -

 

Diet -

 

Meal1 - 5 whole eggs, 4 slices streaky Bacon, 1 wholemeal Bagel, coffee, sweeter, milk. All my Tablets VitC, B6, Milk Thistle, B12, Digestive Enzymes, Fish oil

 

Meal2 - 10oz Chicken(2 breasts) 125g Uncle Bens Rice

 

Meal3 - 2 lean beef burgers, 125g Uncle Bens rice

 

Mea4 - 1 Banana, 1scoop protein.

 

Meal5 - Pre workout drink, with 4 amino's(tabs)

 

Meal6 - Post workout 1scoop protein, 4 amino's(tabs)

 

Meal7 - 250g Slow cooked(beef or chicken) with Tatties and Veg. With a dessert of some sort, ice cream or cake(or both together)

 

Meal8 - 1 Natty no fat Yoghurt, 2 pineapple rings

 

Meal9 - 3am 1scoop protein(in water) if i wake to Pee i'll drink this(but id rather sleep for 8 hrs)

 

Cardio

 

Cardio im doing 45mins cycling with the Dog @ 7am Every weekday. And also 20mins walking dog in Afternoon, and 30mins walking at Night walking the dog.

 

So currently sitting @ 15.6st. Want to reach over 16st LEAN as i struggle to get over this weight.

 

Thats it folks. Like i said this thread is not just for me, its for everyone.

your going to hav 9 meals in 1 day :)?

 

im having 5 a day, and thats awkward enough to keep on top of !

I guess different goals though.

 

Well not today like. Its my birthday wknd so currently got my face in a bag of doritos just now watching the Old Firm. :D

My old man said uncle ben's rices are pretty nice. How do you cook yours? Oven?

 

Surprised you haven't got any quinoa in there. I'm currently on 6 meals a day, I don't have much of a choice as I get hungry every 2-3 hours :D

 

What protein are you on dude.

Thats a lot of food, you must be eating all the time, and if not cooking at least :)

 

its not really bud, 5 solid meals 3 drinks, and 1 wont even touch the sides. :D

 

My old man said uncle ben's rices are pretty nice. How do you cook yours? Oven?

i just nuke it for 2mins bud, easy to calculate the 125g then. :D

 

Im using 3 at the moment. PHD mint choc chip(this stuff is the shizzle), USN 100% WHEY, and muscletech 100% whey. Just trying out different brands see what one works the better. :D

just stock whey's then? I use Sci MX hardcore, its got a nice low carb content. You definitely should look up the quinoa though dude, it the highest protein rice replacement you can get. Its a grain-like food. It looks like frog spawn but don't let that put you off. Had a PT give me a few diet tips and this one is pretty tasty with tuna.

 

How come your trying three at the same time, I usually try one on it's own for a few months and see how I get on. I can't knock SciMX and highly recommend it, I tried the Omni-mx all-in-one and found I had better gains and recovery with the whey with amino's.

 

Thinking about starting the morning cardio as well, though just because it will help get it out the way for the day. I've read loads of reports where they can't actually prove cardio in the morning is any better than other times of the day, though not having eaten helps stimulate fat usage. You ever read any content on it?

 

You take anything else, like creatine caps or the sorts, everyone at my gym bloats on about creatine though I've never really been tried a proper cycle.

supplements taking at the moment

 

Met RX- Creatine capsules - 6 a day

USN- Protein 2 shakes a day

Jack3d- pre workout supplement ( i find this stuff awesome!)

 

Meals 5 a day, smash alot of chicken- salmon,

Pretty much anything that walked ,swam,or grew in the ground!

 

Im going to America in 7 weeks, So no alcohol when im cutting up

Its been 2 weeks ;) Results are looking good.

will look in to that Quinoa bud, im always looking for new stuff to try. :thumbs:

 

trying 3 as it saves me getting bored or sick of one. I had 3 USN strawberry tubs, within a month or so i got bored of it. So having the 3 i can have the 3 types each day and not get bored. :D

 

With Cardio in the morning for me, it helps wake me the **** UP. I get up at 7, through the clothes on and out the door, soon as im home, im wide awake, and hungry and ready to go to work.

 

Ok cardio - A calorie burned is a calorie burned simple, no matter what time of the day. On an empty stomach in the morning is better, as can you imagine having breakfast, then heading out to do cardio. You'd either spew or have a stitch.

 

Krealkayine is the one to get, there in cap form and don't bloat will be trying them shortly. :D

im trying the HEMO RAGE at the moment. OMG! :faint: pre workout stuff does not affect me FACT! Until i tried this stuff, MENTAL AND BUZZING to say the least.

Was nearly sick when I tried the 50kg dumb bells, the last rep I started struggling and stood up and started wobbling as I walked, was closest I've been I reckon! Definitely gonna try some cardio in the morning, we have some awesome views around here so I'll probably jump on the bike.

 

You have a fair amount of fruit in your diet, I know fruit is good I try and include it as much as possible (even had a snack fruit pot while out crusing about with the local guys), but any reason you use it as a supplement in your diet, some hardcore body builders don't even have fruit in their diet.

 

9% welsh blimey, you must be one ripped little puppy! I need to shed some fat, I'm 16 stone and lean isn't a word I know of :)

lol!, Does it give you pins and needles or make you itchy 5 minutes after drinking it?

its mental stuff, This last week iv put on 5lbs and now my body fat is 9% :)

none of that mate, but it does feel as though im off my tits. strange strange feeling, and on that i only use it for leg day. 9% blimey how was it measure? see i dont go by Bodyfat % i use the mirror to gauge my progress.

i chop and change the fruit mate, as its simplex carbs, so a quick blast of natty sugar. I use it meal4 just before training, so it has time to get into my system. The pineapple rigs are there for helping me digest things, great digestive enzymes

These fitness and wellbeing threads are useless without pictures. You are all taking these extremely expensive products that you claim work, so why not show members who are getting into training the apparent way forward. A picture tells a thousand words and all that.

Because you work with your training and how you feel you improve. Your diet changes, things in your life change. Pictures are as reliable as words giving a statement saying how you felt. I could upload a picture stating my protein supplement helped me build stength compared to other ones, but without having the exact diet day in day out its as accurate as words and pictures. When I changed protein, my one rep max on my bench went up 2.5kg a week, every week, for 6 weeks. There's no way you would see hardly any change in a picture dude, yet I would be benching 15kg more on my max, thats a big jump when your over 100kg and your comparing two pictures which will be the same to the naked eye.

Dam Geo, you've got pretty good genetic structure, balance and symmetry. Good effort, thats some serious hard work and dedication there. I'm 6ft, 17stone with 18" arms but i'm struggling with the will power to strip some of the unwanted weight away I just like my food too much!!!!

genetics nope, the rest i have some of. :D Don't let those pics fool you though, that was about 5 years ago, alot has changed since then. LEGS were my weak point and triceps. Been working to bring them up. :D

 

People don't realise how hard it is to get into that condition, and even stay like that. its a full time job. If things go well this year till Jan, then i'll be doing another Comp thread, fingers crosses i actually get a good run at it, and nothing interferes with it. :(
